Dr. Schnittker opened the first Brentwood Veterinary Hospital on Brentwood Blvd in 1976. BVH moved to its current location in July of 1990. The current location was originally designed to house two veterinarians and a staff of 5-10 people. We now employ 3 full-time, 1-2 relief Veterinarians, 6 receptionists, 4 Registered Veterinary Technicians, and 8 veterinary assistants.

Our focus is two-fold: educating you the owner with the information you need to make the right decision on your pet’s care and providing the best treatment available for your pet. In the event of illness or injury, we’ll provide your pet with exceptional medical and surgical care, so that we can get them home where they belong as quickly as possible.
