Associate DVM
Dr. Anna Drachuk
Dr. Anna Drachuk grew up in Eastern Europe, and moved to the United States as a teenager. Her love for animals, passion for medicine, and the ultimate personal pursuit to advance animal welfare worldwide, has led her to establish a career in the Veterinary Medicine. She obtained a Bachelor of Science from the Johns Hopkins University, and then pursued her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine at Michigan State University, where she graduated with honors in 2016. Dr. Drachuk worked with various species during her studies, including police dogs, horses, marine mammals, beef cattle, and even wild cats, such as cheetahs, bobcats, and mountain lions.
After completing an internship with the USDA in Los Angeles, Dr. Drachuk fell in love with California and made it her home. Since then, she has been a relief veterinarian at multiple hospitals in the Los Angeles area, but recently relocated to the Bay Area. She’s excited to create lasting relationships in our community; Dr. Drachuk cares deeply for her patients, clients, and medical team, and believes working together allows for the best patient outcomes. Her special interests include soft tissue surgery, preventative medicine, and a variety of cases seen with critical care medicine.
In her spare time, Dr. Drachuk enjoys traveling worldwide, exploring national parks, hiking, biking, climbing, kayaking, and spending time with friends and family. At home, she has a Samoyed dog named Fuji, and an orange kitty, Maneki.
