After graduating in 2005 from The University of Sydney in her homeland Australia, Dr. Smith moved to California to work as a small animal veterinarian. Since that time, Dr. Smith has gained extensive experience in small animal practice and has a special interest in small animal internal medicine, dermatology, preventive care, and behavior. Dr. Smith's interest in behavior and training led her to volunteer as a puppy raiser for Guide Dogs for the Blind. This rewarding experience has allowed Dr. Smith to hone her training skills to help solve tough puppy behavior problems. When not working, Dr. Smith can be found surrounded by her pets Reeses the chihuahua, Theo the cat, and her many horses and Nigerian Dwarf goats at her farm.
