rentwood Veterinary Hospital is equipped to offer state of the art diagnostic and therapeutic services to care for your pet’s complete health care needs. We offer modern diagnostics in the form of in-house laboratory, ultrasound and full X-ray capabilities including dental radiography. Once diagnosed, we are able to treat your pets with current pharmaceuticals, surgery and hands on treatments.

Ultrasound—Ultrasound is available for medical diagnosis as well as pregnancy examinations. Ultrasound allows for visualization of organs or disease processes that may be difficult to see on routine X-rays. This procedure is non-invasive and painless for your pet.

Dentistry—Our dental services include full mouth cleaning and polishing as well as dental X-rays, tooth extractions and oral surgery. Good oral care is very important in the overall well-being of your pets.

Laboratory—Our in-house laboratory allows us to perform full chemistry, hematology, serology, urinalysis and parasite testing on the spot. We generally have results within the time it takes for a routine appointment. We also utilize a commercial veterinary laboratory for specialized diagnostics and pathology.

Surgery—All of our doctors perform routine surgery on a daily basis. In addition to spays and neuters we perform exploratory surgery and corrective surgery to diagnose or treat many diseases and injuries. Many of our doctors have taken a special interest in orthopedic surgery and will perform more extensive fracture repairs as well as knee surgery to correct ruptured cruciate ligaments. In addition, we have two boarded surgeons that are available to do more extensive surgeries right here at Brentwood Veterinary Hospital.

Radiology—We utilize digital radiography for our x-ray needs. This cutting edge technology allows us to take better, more detailed X-rays in a shorter amount of time. This state of the art technology not only makes us more efficient, but it is a much better diagnostic tool. You can even take a copy home on a cd-rom if you want to have a keepsake of your pet’s visit.

Endoscopy—Endoscopy is another unique non-invasive tool that we have at Brentwood Veterinary Hospital. Endoscopy can be used to visualize the contents of the stomach and esophogus.

Micro-chipping—We offer micro-chipping to help ensure you pet’s continued safety.

Surgical monitoring—Brentwood Veterinary Hospital has several surgical monitoring devices. Every animal under anesthesia is assigned a technician to monitor all of their vital signs and level of anesthesia. These talented technicans are with your pet from the moment anesthesia begins to when they are able to move around on their own. We monitor blood pressures, oxygen saturation of the blood, heart rates and respiratory rates.
