Our Hospital Manager
Shannon Cameron has been working at Brentwood Veterinary Hospital for five years, first as a technician, then as hospital administrator. She has worked in the veterinary profession for 24 years, primarily as a veterinary technician or a Hospital Manager. She lives in Brentwood with her husband, two kids and multiple furry friends as well. Originally from San Jose, Shannon loves the community feel of Brentwood, and strives to bring that feeling of community into practice at the office.
Our Office Staff
Our front office staff is led by Tracy Taylor and Amber Coelho. Tracy and Amber have been here for more than nine years and know most of our clients by their first names. They lead a great team of receptionists including Laura, Emerald, April, and Michele. Our reception staff are always eager to make our clients and patients as welcome as possible, and to meet whatever needs they may have.
Our Technical Staff
Liz Panduro and Melissa Merrill lead up our technical staff. Melissa has been with us for 10 years and Liz for 7 years. They are very motivated, hard-working and caring technicians. Together they help to train and motivate a technical staff that includes Katrina, Hollie, Kirsten, Amy, Katie, Gio and Christina. We also have two newer technicians that just graduated from Western Career College’s Veterinary Technician Program, Ashley and Trista.
Our technicians are always learning, and strive to increase their knowledge base to best help our furry friends. We currently have four licensed RVT's (Registered Veterinary Technician) - Liz, Hollie, Katie and Gio. In addition, we have three of our unlicensed technicians taking their boards in 2010 which could bring our licensed technical staff to seven. We feel this is an outstanding accomplishment.
We strive to have a friendly, well educated staff. To accomplish this, our staff has in-house training every other week to keep current on anything and everything related to pet care.
